According to The Fast Lane (TFL), the Ranger Raptor will continue the design of its big brother, the Ford F-150 Raptor. In fact, the second video also shows the next generation Ford F-150 Raptor in bright orange. However, the new Ford Ranger is still literally under wraps. What is the engine of the Ford Ranger Raptor?

This engine produces 210 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque, which is transmitted through a 10-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel-drive transfer case with high and low gearing. In the U.S., the only engine option for the current-generation Ford Ranger is a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. It’s designed for heavy-duty work and can tow up to 7,500 pounds, according to Ford’s website.
