Ram will launch the HFE EcoDiesel 1500 Tradesman in 2021. It is considered one of the most fuel-efficient full-size pickups. If you choose the right combination, you can compare it to the Chevy Silverado and the Ford F-150. Let’s see how the three batteries compare.
The fuel consumption figures forChevrolet and Ram are both.

power for the Ford F-150 Hybrid comes from the3.5-liter turbocharged V6.
Power for the Ford F-150 Hybrid comes from a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6. It is powered by a 35-kilowatt electric motor and assisted by a 10-speed automatic transmission. Total power is 430 lb-ft and torque is 570 lb-ft. The maximum payload is 12,700 lbs and the load capacity is 2,120 lbs.

APPROPRIATE: Ram has the most affordable full-size diesel truck of 2021.
The 2021 Silverado 1500 gets its numbers from the Ram diesel model. At 27 MPH, it’s better in mixed runs than the Ford and Ram, but the payload is lower. The Silverado’s six-cylinder Duramax engine produces 270 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. It is capable of towing 9,300 pounds with a towing capacity of 1,870 pounds.
Which brings us back to Aries. The numbers come from a 3.0-liter V6 that makes 260 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque. But its towing capacity, at 12,560 pounds, is slightly less than that of an F-150. The good news is that you can drive the Ram 1,000 miles on one tank of diesel.
Ramoffers the HFE Trader only as a double cab version of the four door.

Ram offers the Tradesman HFE only as a four-door double cab with a three-foot-wide bed. It’s also only available with a black bumper and grille, tonneau cover, side steps, cloth interior and 20-inch wheels. Therefore, when choosing this model, you don’t have to refrain from looking for savings.
The Ram Tradesman HFE starts at $42,240 and costs $1,695. The Ford F-150 PowerBoost starts at $42,840, but you can upgrade to any trim level, from XL SuperCrew to Limited SuperCrew. This package costs $74,420. Finally, the Chevrolet Silverado with V6 turbodiesel costs $39,600 in LTZ trim, but is also available in RST, LTZ and High Country trim.
So the Silverado’s towing capacity is slightly lower, but its price is three thousand dollars less than a Ram or a Ford. That’s why we say it’s apples and oranges when we compare the three trucks. Depending on your specific needs, you can be sure that you have made the right choice.
