Angry Driver Shoots at a Tesla Model 3 but Fails Thanks to a Window Motor

The Tesla Model 3 is far from bulletproof. However, the electric vehicle in this bizarre video saved its driver from a violent incident with a car. In a video posted on YouTube by Wham Baam Teslacam, an unknown man in an SUV can be seen approaching the Tesla and opening fire.

Fortunately for this Tesla owner, two of the four shots were fired while positioning the car’s window motor. What makes this story so strange is that it seems to have happened for no reason.

How did the Tesla Model 3 start to run?

Thanks to the Tesla Model 3 and its eight cameras, we can see this incident from different angles. This allows us to know exactly what happened before the admission and what might have caused it.

The video begins with a Tesla Model 3 driving down a highway in Nashville, Tennessee. First, we see an MLA messenger in the right lane while the electric vehicle passes him on the left. It’s worth noting that the Tesla passes in a perfectly reasonable manner, without speeding or driving aggressively. Eventually, the SUV fades into the background while the EV continues to drive in the middle lane.

A few miles down the road, the Tesla Model 3 pulled into the right lane for a possible future exit. At that point, the SUV pulls into the middle lane. From there, we see the SUV’s passenger window slowly roll down, revealing a man with a gun. The man in the Jeep pulls the trigger four times, repeatedly hitting the Tesla.

Tesla window motor saved the day.

APPROPRIATE: Spontaneous glass breakage is the latest problem with the Tesla Model 3.

When the driver of the Tesla Model 3 realized the shots had been fired from the SUV, he immediately took the next exit to exit the highway. Surprisingly, the driver of the electric vehicle managed to remain calm during the launch. Thanks to the Wham Baam Teslacam on YouTube, we have close-up footage of the incident.

The photo above shows where the four shots hit the Tesla Model 3. The first two entered the driver’s door. First, it shows that the driver of the SUV was looking for the cause of the severe damage. Fortunately, the EV ram motor was able to stop both bullets, which had apparently entered through the same hole in the front door. As a result, the owner of the Tesla was not injured.

The next two bullets hit the back door of the Tesla Model 3. According to Wham Baam Teslacam, one of the bullets in the back door was stopped by another part in the door. But the last shot landed in the cockpit. Fortunately, this last bullet lodged in the back seat and did not injure the driver.

Did they catch the shooter?

Unfortunately, this Tesla Model 3 sequence doesn’t have a satisfying ending. According to Wham Baam Teslacam, the owner of the EV showed several video clips to the police. Because the video was so blind, police could not see the SUV’s license plate number. At this point we all know that this is the second generation of MLA commissioners, appointed between 2002 and 2009.

Fortunately, users of Reddit have improved the video above so that you can clearly read the license plate. Wham Baam Teslacam reports that authorities have been notified, but no one has been arrested at the time of writing.
