2021 Ford F-Series Super Duty Truck Wheels Might Fall Off

Dear readers, as you know, Super Duty trucks are notorious for their heavy weight, their inability to maneuver, and their tendency to have their wheels fall off. However, Ford has been hard at work on a new series of Super Duty trucks. One of these is the new 2021 Ford F-Series Super Duty Truck, which is the best of the best. In fact, it will be the most powerful, the most durable, and even the most comfortable truck that Ford has ever produced.

Ford Motor Company has announced it will produce a new generation of truck wheel that has a “new, aero-functional design” which will be introduced in 2021. The wheels will feature a new “winged” design that will supposedly provide greater aerodynamic efficiency, enhanced handling, and less noise and vibration at highway speeds.

Ford will be launching a new F-150 Super Duty Truck in two years, and it will be the first new vehicle built on the all-new, second-generation Ford Super Duty truck platform. However, speculation by fans predicts that the new truck may not be perfect. Some say the new truck has too many changes, like the aluminum-body structure, and the new, more powerful engine, while others say the truck looks too much like the previous generation. Others say the new truck will have too many features, like the new 15-inch infotainment screen, providing too much information, but not enough control. And finally, the most common complaint is that the new truck will be too expensive for the average Joe.. Read more about 2022 ford super duty colors and let us know what you think.

Ford recalled many vehicles following complaints that Ford may not have properly fitted front-wheel hub extenders (due to the twin tires in the rear). The recall now affects Ford F-350, F-450, F-550, and F-600 Super Duty vehicles manufactured in 2021. Due to the unique rear-wheel issue, this recall did not affect the smaller Ford F-150 pickups.

Is there a Ford F-150 Super Duty truck recall?

A wide range of Ford Super Duty vehicles are available for 2021. The real-wheel versions of the F-350, F-450, F-550, and F-600 Super Duty trucks are affected by this recall, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). At this moment, the F-150 is unaffected.

The problem is due to the supplier, and it may cause the wheel extenders to separate from the car. This raises the risk of a collision, particularly if the drivers are towing.

After two instances in which the left wheel separated while the vehicle was in motion, the recall was conducted. The NHTSA campaign number is 21V390000, and it affects 17,616 vehicles. In the meanwhile, Ford is requesting that owners refrain from driving their vehicles.

If the vehicle on file is affected, Ford says owners will get a notice by June 14, 2021. The vehicle will be inspected, and the front wheel hub extender nuts will be tightened. If you haven’t received a letter and are worried about your vehicle, contact Ford at 1-866-436-7332. The Ford recall number is 21S26.

What is the price of a Ford Super Duty in 2021?

The F-350 XL is the lowest vehicle in this recall, with a starting price of $37,235. With the twin rear-tire option, the Ford F-450 XL begins at $50,410. The price varies greatly depending on the size of the truck bed, the additional rear wheels, and many other factory extras offered by Ford. Because the vehicles included in this recall are from the 2021 model year, owners may customize them as they see fit.

Because new cars are in such great demand these days, finding one of them may be a little more difficult. A significant number of Ford Super Duty trucks are now parked on a lot, awaiting the arrival of a semiconductor chip, which will allow Ford to finish the vehicles.

In February, Ford also issued a recall for certain vehicles.

A Recall Alert has been issued. Ford has issued a recall for about 80,000 F-150 and Super Duty pickup vehicles in the United States, citing worries that the windshield may not be securely connected to the vehicle frame. https://t.co/MvnkkIYWMt

Back in February, Consumer Reports reported that 80,000 2021 Ford F-150 and 2020-21 Ford Super Duty trucks were being recalled due to a windshield issue. The 2021 F-150 trucks were specifically the trucks built at the Dearborn Truck Plant from Oct. 27, 2020, to Feb. 3, 2021. The Ford Super Duty trucks were built at the Kentucky Truck Plant from Oct. 13, 2020, to Jan. 23, 2021.

If your vehicle was included in the recall, you should have received a letter in April 2021. 21V090000 was the NHTSA recall number, while 21C06 was the Ford reference number. The windshield will be reinstalled at the dealership to verify that it is securely glued to the frame.
